Een nieuwe header..... / A new header ....

Vandaag geen kaartje maar een nieuwe header gemaakt. Wat is een header? Voor degene die dat niet weten (ik weet het ook pas sinds gisteren) dit is de titelkaart bovenaan de blog. Ik vond een roze titelkaart niet zo passen bij de kerstkleuren rood en groen. Dus weer aan de slag om mijn blog zo veel mogelijk in de kerstsfeer te krijgen. Direct ook weer een ander achtergrondje erbij om alles op elkaar afgestemd te krijgen. Ik heb ook mijn eigen Slice (Making Memories) tevoorschijn kunnen halen om de Christmas cartridge uit te proberen. De Slice werkt toch wel erg prettig ! De twee stempels zijn de kerstman en kerstvrouw van Magnolia. Een leuk tekstje erbij en de header is weer klaar. Tot aan de kerst kunnen we er weer mee vooruit. Tot gauw,

Today not a card on my blog but I made a new header. Since yesterday I know what a header is, the title card on the top of my blog. Still learning ..... The pink card didn't match the Christmas red and green. So, back to making a new card to get more Christmas spirit on the blog. A new background to match the whole scene and I'm "Christmas ready". I took my own Slice (Making Memories) to try the Christmas cartridge. The Slice is a very handy tool ! The two stamps are Mr. & Mrs. Santa from Magnolia. A funny text to complete it and the header is ready. Let it be Christmas everyday. See you soon,

Sketch Saturday

Voor de eerste keer vanaf mijn gloednieuwe laptop. Alle instellingen moesten weer even goed gezet worden, maar ik kan nu lekker snel bloggen, haha. Ja, die man van mij mag best met dit soort cadeautjes thuis komen.

Sketch Saturday heeft deze week een sketch van Mariska. Niet zo moeilijk deze week, met weinig verschillend designpapier (ik heb er maar een gebruikt) kun je al een leuke kaart maken. Wat ook fantastisch is aan deze sketch is dat je een keer een gewone kaart kan maken ipv. een vierkante. Het designpapier wat ik gebruikt heb is van My Minds Eye (Quite Smitten) een mooie nieuwe lijn. De stempel is van Magnolia en het basiskarton van Bazzill. Leuk dat je langs bent geweest, ik ga nu weer verder met de huiskamer in kerstsfeer te brengen. Hier ben ik altijd wel een paar dagen zoet mee.........

For the first time from my brand new laptop. All the accounts had to be set properly, but now I can blog really fast, lol. Yes, that husband of mine can bring these kind of gifts home anytime.

Blog Candy bij Pollycraft designs,

Wow, wat een blog candy!!!! Ben je wel eens op de blog van Pollycraft design geweest? NEE, nou dan zal ik maar gauw eens gaan kijken ze geven een geweldige blogcandy weg. Paula heeft een super sprookjesboek gemaakt met daarin 9, ja je leest het goed, met daarin 9 nieuwe stempels van de Woodland elven. Ook al vind je het sprookjesboek niet leuk(ik persoonlijk vind hem geweldig) de stempels zijn zeker de moeite waard om een berichtje te plaatsen. Dus ga allemaal even naar de site van Pollycraft designs. Je vind het adres bij de challenges. Magnolia VS Stampavie - challenge 5

Zoals gezegd, hier ben ik dan alweer met de volgende challenge. Deze is van Magnolia vs Stampavie, mijn favoriete challenge blog. Ik vind de sketches altijd geweldig en ik heb van beide merken stempels genoeg om steeds maar weer mee te kunnen doen. Dit keer geen kerstkaart maar een lots of hugs kaart, ik vind deze stempel zo schattig, dat ik het niet kon laten om daar snel iets mee te doen. Stamp with Stampavie - challenge 21

Nog maar een kaartje voor de kerst, het is echt de tijd daar voor, hoewel ik het hele jaar kerstkaarten maak maar nu ietsje meer. De challenge van STAMP WITH STAMPAVIE ging via een sketch, ik vind het elke keer weer een uitdaging om iets te maken wat anders is dan van de DT members. Het is vandaag zondag en het sneeuw buiten zo ik dacht, leuk dat dat ga ik ook op mijn kaart doen. Het bontrandje van de muts is met glitter bewerkt alleen zie je dat niet zo goed. jammer!!! Het designpapier wat ik gebruikt heb is van My Minds Eye (laundry line), de stempel is van Rachelle Anne Miller en het basiskarton van Bazzill. Tot de volgende challenge, want die ligt al klaar.

And another card for christmas, it's that time of the year, although I'm making them all year 'round, but now a little bit more. The challenge of Stamp with Stampavie is with a sketch, it's a challenge for me to make something different than the DT members did. It's sunday and it's snowing outside so I thought let's put some snow on the card as well. The fur on the hat is glittered but you can't see it, pity again. The designpaper I used is from My Mind's Eye (Laundry line). The stamp is from Rachelle Anne Miller and the cardstock Bazzill's. Friday Sketchers - challenge 30

Weer een challenge gevonden met een eenvoudige sketch, dus ik heb het me zelf moeilijk gemaakt. Ik heb voor het eerst de naaimachine tevoorschijn gehaald en verschillende steken uitgeprobeerd. Nou ik moet je vertellen dat valt niet mee, je moet zorgen dat je recht blijft en de hoek om met een zigzag steek is ook niet eenvoudig. Toch is de kaart geslaagd, vind je niet?

I found a challenge with a simple sketch, so why not make it difficult for myself. For the first time I used the sewing machine and tried different stitches. Well that was hard, you have to stay in a straight line and stitching the corners wasn't simple. I'm very pleased with the result, don't you ? Double Dutch - challenge 6

Na dat ik de wedstrijd van double dutch gewonnen had en de nieuwe sketch geweldig vond kon ik het niet laten om weer mee te doen. Dit is de blauwe serie van K&Company(amy butler) ook geweldig, alleen de kleur komt niet zo goed over, tenminste op mijn computer, de kleur blauw is veel zachter het gaat meer naar babyblauw toe. Jammer!!!! De stempel is van Wiff of Joy. De image is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Groetjes THEA

After I've won the challenge from Double Dutch, and found a wonderful new sketch, I couln't resist to try it again. As promised, the blue series from K&Comany's Amy Butler. Also great, only I cant't get the colors better with scanning. The blue color is soft and tends to baby blue. On my computer it's too blue, pity ! The stamp is from Whiff of Joy. Stamp with Stampavie - challenge 20

Sandra is gastdesigner bij stamp with stampavie en heeft deze leuke sketch bedacht. Ik kreeg meteen een leuk idee en dit is het geworden. Ik heb deze stempel mogen stempelen van een vriendin( bedankt sjak) en heb hem nu leuk verwerkt in deze kaart, want deze stempel is natuurlijk van stampavie. Binnenkort krijg ik hem ook binnen, deze week hoop ik zodat ik nog een paar leuke kerstkaartjes kan maken. Het blauwe designpapier is van Basic Grey(offbeat) en het basiskarton van Bazzill.
Vanmiddag moet ik mijn spullen weer inpakken, want morgen moet ik de beurs in Rijswijk weer opbouwen. Dus wie weet zie ik jullie weer in Rijswijk en anders tot ziens op mijn blog. Groetjes,

Sandra is guest designer at Stamp with Stampavie and made this great sketch. I got a nice idea and this is what came out. I used the stamp of a friend (thanks Sjak) and now made the card, because it's a Stampavie stamp. My own stamp is on the road right now and I hope to get it this week to make some nice christmas cards with it. The blue designpaper is from Basic Grey (offbeat) and the cardstock is from Bazzill. een kaartje, dus even geen challenge. Deze kaart is speciaal voor de knipvellen fans. Degene die altijd mijn pakketten kopen herkennen hem vast wel uit pakket 89, dus geen nieuwe kaart. Maar er zijn vast genoeg mensen die mijn pakketten nog niet kennen dus speciaal voor hun deze kaart want hij blijft leuk. Er is een knipvel gebruikt van de Moreheads, deze zijn erg populair in Nederland. Veel kijkplezier en tot ziens.

`Magnolia Vs Stampavie - Challenge 3

Hallo allemaal, gezellig dat jullie weer even komen kijken wat ik nu weer op mijn blog heb geplaatst. Gisteren ben ik met Anneke en Paula naar Doorn geweest om een workshop te volgen. We moesten 5 projecten maken, dat viel niet mee. Je had voor elk project ongeveer een uur de tijd en aangezien ik alles precies en netjes wil hebben, is een uur tekort voor mij. Gelukkig voor mij waren de meesten niet klaar met hun projecten. Misschien een tip voor de volgende keer, 1 project minder en iets meer tijd voor de andere? Maar we hebben wel een leuke dag gehad en ook nog wat geleerd.
Nu deze kaart, vanmorgen werd ik wakker en wilde een challenge maken en de Magnolia vs Stampavie challenge heeft wel mijn voorkeur omdat ik dit, beide, leuke stempels vindt. Er stond weer een leuke sketch op de blog dus gauw aan de slag, en dit is hem geworden. Jullie herkennen vast wel de magnolia stempel, het designpapier is van Heidi Grace Designs en het basiskarton is van Bazzill.

Hello, nice of you to drop by and take a look at what I've put on my blog this time. Yesterday I went to Doorn with Anneke and Paula for a workshop at the castle. We had to do 5 projects and for everyone there was about an hour. But I would like to do everything precise and neat and an hour is too short then. But most of the people weren't ready yet. Maybe a tip for the next time, 1 project less and a bit more time for the others. We had a very nice day though and have learned some new tricks as well. Now for this card, I woke up this morning and wanted to do a challenge today and the Magnolia vs Stampavie challenge is my preference because I love both the stamps so much. There was a lovely sketch, so I got to work and the result is shown here. You'll recognize the Magnolia stamp. the designpaper is from Heidi Grace Designs and the cardstock is from Bazzill.

DDC5 - Triangel doosje / Triangle Box

Nog net op tijd, het is nog steeds woensdag en ik had beloofd iets nieuws op de blog te plaatsen. Nou, ik heb een leuke uitdaging gevonden in het maken van een triangel doosje. Aan deze challenge kan je meedoen bij Double Dutch. Het is een hele uitdaging maar wel leuk. Het designpapier is van Basic Grey (eva) en de stempel van Magnolia. Het lint is van Bazzill. Snowmen - My Time To Craft

Ja ja, ik weet het, ik had pas woensdag een nieuw kaartje beloofd, maar na een dag hard werken en even bloggen kwam ik een challenge tegen van MY TIME TO CRAFT - Challenge 36 waarin ze een kaart vroegen met een sneeuwpop. Toevallig had ik er nog een in mijn album staan, dus toch nog een kaartje op de dinsdag. Als je deze kaart neerzet dan zie je aan de voorkant de sneeuwpop met de drie rondjes, de bloem zit binnenin de kaart.(misschien toch maar iets meer fotograferen en niet alleen maar scannen). Yeh, yeh I know, I promised a new card on wednesday, but after a hard day at work I wanted to take a look at the blogs and so I ran into the challenge of My Time to Craft - Challenge 36. They asked for a card with a snowman. I just had one in my album, which I made a little while ago, so here's my card on a tuesday. If you put the card on a table, you will see the snowmen on the front in the three circles, the flower is inside the card (maybe I'll need to make some photographs instead of scanning). Voor een klant........

Hoi allemaal, ik heb nog geen nieuwe kaartjes gemaakt (helaas) want ik ben nog te druk met uitpakken, huishouden en bijkomen. De beurs was een groot succes, je kon nog niks merken van een crisis. Gelukkig voor ons. Ik heb dit kaartje beloofd om op mijn blog te zetten voor een klant dus speciaal voor haar maar natuurlijk ook voor anderen. Morgen moet ik weer bij een baas werken dus ook weer geen tijd maar ik zal proberen woensdag een nieuw kaartje op de blog te plaatsen. groetjes,

Even Pauze / Just a pause.

U zult wel denken, waarom na al die kaarten al bijna een week geen nieuwe kaart. Op dit moment sta ik op de KreaDoe in Utrecht. Het is daar zo enorm druk (en gezellig), dat er even geen tijd is om mijn blog bij te houden. Ik krijg wel heel veel leuke reacties van jullie over mijn blog en daaruit blijkt dat jullie het regelmatig bezoeken. Erg fijn ! Als ik volgende week weer een beetje bijgekomen ben komt er absoluut weer een nieuw kaartje, want nieuwe materialen zijn er in overvloed dus ik kan bijna niet wachten. Voor nu even een kaartje "uit de oude doos" met drie Magnolia stempels en omdat we de nieuwe collectie Magnolia stempels binnen hebben zullen daar ongetwijfeld wat kaartjes mee gaan volgen ... Prettig weekend allemaal en tot ziens op de KreaDoe of tot volgende week.

I'll hear you think, after all those cards last month it's now quiet for almost a week. I'm at the KreaDoe (the largest trade show in the Netherlands) this week. With my own studio we do have our own booth over there and it's so busy that I don't have the time for the blog this week. I'm getting all kinds of very friendly reactions at the KreaDoe and you are visiting my blog quite often, so thanks ! Next week there will be a new card, but first I have to rest after the weekend (KreaDoe is 'till sunday). I've got a lot of new materials, so I can't wait to make a new card. For now I've published an old one with three stamps from Magnolia. Because we've got the new collection of Magnolia Stamps in this week there will be new cards with them. Enquete resultaten / Survey results.

De enquete is beeindigd. 80% van u vond de kaarten geweldig en bekeek ze allemaal, 20% vond het leuk en bekeek sommige kaarten. Uiteraard ga ik door met de blog, maar ik heb naar aanleiding van een aantal reacties wel een nieuwe enquete op de pagina gezet. Deze gaat over het gebruik van stempels of knipvellen.
